Hey dudes, Andy from CC here, I thought I'd give you guys some feedback since I promised that I would at the mart.
Alrighty, first and foremost I want to commend both the number of panels you have per page and the interesting angles you used, it really keeps the story moving at a good pace and swaps around the visual information enough to give both a fuller understanding of the scenes and keeps the story dynamic.
The backgrounds are well done, especially the forest scenes, Also Graeme draws a mean car.
My only criticism of the artwork would be that the character art is a little choppy and stiff in places, but the colour job does a lot to pull it together, I think the strongest colour work is during the night time scenes, coupled with some very effective wide angle panels, it sets a really sets a great tone.
The very last panel is an absolute corker too, crowd scenes are very hard to pull off and this one was executed extremely well, with cracking little touches like the wee jakey, staggering about on the left hand side of the page.
The writing I think holds up though I'd suggest checking out

It's something a good load of us use, a great resource, it helps you avoid most of the common pitfalls in writing, like the inevitable unintentional Mary-sue character, the ultimate unbeatable badass.
It also helps with building your world to make sure it all fits together in your head and it begins to write its self.
Um...
Graeme, you might want to invest in Chris Hart's Drawing Cutting Edge Comics and Drawing Cutting Edge Anatomy, both excellent books that have helped me to no end, you can pick em up for about 8 quid each on Play.com
There are loads of others but those are the two I use most often.
So to Summarise, I thought it was a good read, well coloured and the backgrounds were of a particularly high standard in most places, though I think the character art was a little ropey and it could've used a few more jokes to break up the grim-dark a little.
I hope this helps and doesn't earn me a kick in the ovaries.
You guys should start coming to the meets on Saturdays, aside from being an utter laugh there are always loads of pencils flying in sketchbooks and the pro guys are always willing to give out their ideas, tips and advice.
