Proud Sponsors of Glasgow Comic Con

 

Obscure Reference Comics are proud to announce they are sponsoring Glasgow Comic Con, the first comic convention in Glasgow for over 15 years.

 

Unfortunately OR Comics are unable to attend but are extactic at the opportunity to support the event. Expect to see free OR items in attendee goodie bags which will be given upon entry!

 

 

 

 

The convention, held at the Mackintosh Centre in Glasgow, will host the talents of Mark Millar, David Lloyd, Frank Quitely and many others. All autographs are completely FREE and will host a variety of workshops and panels. There will also be exhibitors, from independent retailers to small press creators who will show the very best of local talent.

 

At night there will be the very first Scottish Indepednent Comic Book Awards and a VIP party.

 

OR Comics will be attending the next convention they hold, so keep a look out for updates on the Glasgow comic scene.

"free or items" -- as in, the single ad in the program book? dude, you guys were so under-represented.

still, the whole thing definitely made me optimistic about the chances of future glasgow cons, thus opportunities for you and everyone else who needs awareness. :D

haha, well there's a confusion as to why we didn't have stuff in the bags.

And we'll kick ass at Thought Bubble anyway :)! So the con was good then? Gutted we missed it.
