Post-con blues have struck hard. Im back in the real world and even worse, my first draft of this post was wiped out when my computer crashed. Damn.

But here we are now. Thought Bubble at the weekend was an absolute blast. Villainous 3 launched and I met with some old and new friends. To save spewing out a boring amount of paragraphs, here's the general highlights.

Villainous 3 launched: We got a good amount of sales for the final chapter in the series. It's an amazing relief to have the story complete after so long and I'm excited for the much bigger and better projects we'll be moving on to. Big thanks to everyone who dropped by to check it out, and to everyone who has supported Villainous over the past three years.

Comic chat: I got to speak to a bunch of publishers and creative people about working in the industry. Met some lovely people who were more than happy to give tips and advice about developing my career. Shout outs to Ian Boothby who gave me some tips on how to get into writing for a kind of famous family, Corrine from Myriad Editions, Steve from Time Bomb Comics, Molch-R from 2000AD, Dave from Accent UK, Orang-Utang Comics, Dave from Futurequake Press, Gary Erskine, Blank Slate books.. and god I chatted alot! Huge thanks to you all for taking your time to talk with me.

Representing GLoW: This was my first big con away from home with my fellow Glasgow League of Writers members and the first time sharing a publication with them. We launched GLoW 2; an anthology showcasing our talents in the horror genre. It turned out amazing and I'm proud to have my name listed with some of the best indy talents in the UK. The guys in GLoW are serious contenders, expect some of them to be huge in the future.

Indie goodies! I picked up my fair share of stuff and probably broke the bank. There's such an amazing range of indie material in the UK, I wish I could have got something from everyone. Special shoutout to Tanya Roberts, who not only has a great comic, but drew me up an amazing commission.

A special thanks to Rosie and Nick who also gave us another amazing interview, the coverage we have got from those vids is brilliant and we really appreciate it. And to Stuart Gould of UK Comics for delivering an amazing print copy of Villainous #3.
